Mark Lawrence, famed for his work in the Boweevils, talks with Dave. I really enjoyed having Mark in the midst of the musicians I was around in the mid-80s. Mark was briefly a Mocker, then part of the Dave Middleton Combo(Mr. Sherry woulda booked 'em five nights a week!), and then a BoWeevil (Jeff played bass for them). I always enjoyed his singing and playing esp. with the Boweevils, great arrangement, strong live sound... and always a fun gig, whenever they played. Did they ever do a proper CD? I remember some kind of 'studio' stuff from them in the mid-80s on cassette. Fiddle on 'Don't Get Left Behind?' Help me out here. All to say, a fine band.
