The 2323 was offered at the same time as the 2312, the 'Artist' and the Crest' in 1941. Another Valco-made amp, this example (the only one I've EVER seen!) is seen still paired with its companion steel guitar, which you could tuck away inside the amp case on its own shelf. Amp-in-the-case 20 years ahead of Dano's model!

Information on most of these very early amps is scarce, sometimes the best we can do is find a similar National/Valco to compare it to.

There was no model number visible in the few pictures I have, but the catalog listing clearly denotes 12K02323 for the set.
