

The 620 was the upgraded replacement for the
attractive, successful 618, carrying on the distinctive look of that Kay-made
J-200 'knock-off' with a few refinements that were already in place on the
Kay-branded series of this guitar. Block neck markers, a fancier inlaid
headstock with a more contemporary script logo, and a much smaller window of
availability make the 620 a rare find than the 618. The immediate tipoff to a
620 is, of course, the big block fret marker inlays.
